1.) 2016 Game 7 Cubs vs. Indians

Multiple Lead Changes: Yes

3-runs or more Comeback: Yes

Blown Save: Yes

10/10 Rating

This series literally had it all. Specifically, game 7, which included a leadoff homerun, a blown save, and a 17-minute rain delay prior to its historic 10th inning. As a neutral fan, this game has to lead the list for most memorable postseason games in the past 20 years.

2.) 2011 Game 6 Cardinals vs. Rangers

Multiple Lead Changes: Yes

Blown Save: Yes

9.9/10 Rating

Trailing by 3-runs in the eighth the Cardinals were able to chip away and eventually tie the game with Freese's triple in the 9th inning. The Cardinals were down to their final strike in the game (and series) twice, but had the resiliency to come up with some of the most clutch knocks in MLB history. After watching this game, there are a few questions that come to mind right away. Should Nelson Cruz have been substituted for a defensive replacement? What if Cruz played the carom off the wall instead of letting it get by him? What if Beltre throws home to try to get the tag out in the 10th inning? The amount of questions combined with the magnitude of this game make it an instant classic. Whether you like or dislike Joe Buck, you have to admit his, "we will see you tomorrow night" call is legendary.

3.) 2001 Game 7 Diamondbacks vs. Yankees

Multiple Lead Changes: Yes

Blown Save: Yes

Game Highlights: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0pPytgktAQ (start at 9:15 mark)

9.7/10 Rating

This series pit 'the dynasty 'vs. the upstart team from the desert. The Yankees were playing for a city and country after the events of 9/11; While the Diamondbacks were trying to become the quickest expansion team to win a championship in MLB history. This game featured some of the greatest pitchers of all-time. Clemens, Johnson, Schilling, and Rivera all had appearances, and for that reason alone, this game has to be featured among the best of all-time. I'm biased to this World Series because it came during my formative years, but I genuinely believe it's among the best. The ending to this game will be replayed forever, but it's the events leading up to the Luis Gonzalez game-winning hit that make this comeback seem improbably.

4.) 2014 Game 7 Giants vs. Royals

Blown Save: No

9.5/10 Rating

Arguably the best pitching performance of all time occurred in this game. This seems weird to suggest when the pitcher, Madison Bumgarner, only had to throw 5 innings. However, it was the most stressful 15-out save in MLB history. To put this performance ahead of Don Larsen's perfect game may be a stretch to some, but to do what Bumgarner did on 2 days rest in a winner-take-all is nothing more than astonishing. This game is accentuated by the fact that the tying run was stranded 90 feet away in the 9th inning.

5A.) 2020 Game 4 Rays vs. Dodgers

Multiple Lead Changes: Yes

Blown Save: Yes

9/10 Rating

This game is obviously fresh on the mind. It almost resembled a tennis match more so than a baseball game. Each team was taking their best shot, and absorbing the other's onslaught. This game might not be as significant as the others listed above as it wasn't a close out game, but has to be included for pure delirium of what happened. There are a lot of commonalities you will see in a postseason game, but I'm pretty sure we'll never see an ending quite like what we did in this game 4.

5B.) 2017 Game 5 Astros vs. Dodgers

Multiple Lead Changes: Yes

8.5/10 Rating

If you are looking for pure entertainment this game has to be included. Having said that, this game has definitely been tainted by the cheating scandal of the Houston Astros. At the time however, it was considered one of the greatest World Series games of all time, and it's still fun to go back and dissect the highlights from this game.
